A Little About Me

Originally from a rural town called Lone Tree in Iowa, I lived, worked, and went to school in my town until I decided to move to Seattle in 2023. I fell in love with the area and enjoy exploring all it has to offer. The value of connection and community was instilled in me at a young age. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family whenever I get the chance.

My Hobbies

In my free time you can find me playing video and board games with friends, reading, baking, and listening to my vinyl collection. If I’m not at home, I’m out finding a new spot to grab coffee or a new trail to hike.

Education/Experience

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa in spring 2023 and began pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in fall 2023 at Seattle University with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026. Previously, I have worked as a Direct Support Professional for the ARC of Southeast Iowa, where I led their Dayhab program to increase neurodivergent adults’ community inclusion. In 2023, I began working as a 1:1 Paraeducator at Sacajawea Middle School in the Federal Way School District. To learn more about what it means working with me as a clinical intern, click here.
