A Little About Me
Although I grew up on the East Coast, Washington has been my home for over twenty years. I love the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the warmth and kindness of the people here. It’s a place that has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally, and it’s where I’ve had the joy of raising my family. Over the years, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the richness and complexity of family life. Relationships within families can be some of the most rewarding connections we experience, but they can also be some of the most challenging. I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate these dynamics—helping them build the tools they need to communicate more openly, deepen emotional connections, and foster resilience, patience, and love in their relationships. In addition to family work, I also support individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, and other life challenges. I believe healing begins in a space of safety and compassion, and my goal is to offer that space as we explore practical strategies and personal strengths that can help create a more fulfilling life. Every person’s journey is unique, and I feel honored to be a part of that process of growth and self-discovery.
My Hobbies
In my free time, I love staying active and connected to nature. Walking my dog, riding bikes with my family, and going on hikes are some of my favorite ways to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Whether I’m exploring a new trail or relaxing at the beach, I find peace and inspiration in being outside. I also enjoy hands-on projects like sewing and card making, and find joy in expressing my creativity through crafting. I’m naturally curious and enjoy learning new skills by gaining a new hobby or something I can share with others. Teaching and learning go hand-in-hand for me. I enjoy reading both individually and as a shared activity with family.
Education/Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University–Idaho. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University, and plan to graduate in June 2027. Before joining Larch Counseling, I completed an internship at Fourth Dimension Counseling and Coaching. I’m also a Certified Family Life Educator (provisional) and bring experience working with children and teens in various volunteer roles, including church, community programs, and local schools. These opportunities have deepened my passion for supporting families and young people through every stage of growth.
