A Little About Me

The majority of my early life has been spent in the Snoqualmie Valley. Other than a 4-year stint in Colorado Springs when I was younger, and 5 years in Chicago during my college experience, I have lived between Carnation and Monroe. I love living in the foothills of the Cascades and the adventures that can be had, and often launch internationally for wider experiences. I am always perusing growth and new knowledge and experiences, both professionally and personally. I am a parent of one son who was born in 2017 and co-parent with 50% custodial time.

My Hobbies

I spend most of my time outdoors -hiking, backpacking, skiing, packrafting, paddle boarding, dirt biking or climbing a mountain – if it is outside, I am doing it. My little human is a budding activity partner, and I look forward to the day he surpasses me in skill. If the weather is insufferable (which rarely happens) or I just want a more relaxing time, I will spend my time reading, connecting with friends, working around the yard, or some other home project. I also love to cook and try new recipes!

Education/Experience

I received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2016, and my Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry from Moody Bible Institute of Chicago in 2012. I began working as a Marriage and Family Therapist for Larch Counseling in 2016. Before I began working as a private practitioner, I worked as a clinical intern at Compass Health in the family clinic, consulting with young kids, adolescents, and their families from Sep 2014-Jun 2016. I have spent many years prior to that working with youth
in various capacities.

I am a WA State and AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained, Certified level 2 in Life Span Integration, and have spent time working with CIMBS (Complex Integrated Multiple Brain Systems). My work focuses on Grief, Loss, and Trauma. I at times utilize specific trauma interventions for clients who are currently working with another therapist to help movement happened specifically from these interventions.
