A Little About Me
I grew up in Western Washington and have a soft spot for the PNW. After graduating from the University of Washington, I moved to Utah for a job opportunity and stayed for my post-graduate studies. Utah was a great place for outdoor recreation and exploring the state’s incredible national parks. 6 years later, I decided to move back to Washington, as I missed the green landscape and milder weather. I’ve settled into the King County area and am excited to put down some roots in this community.
My Hobbies
Outside of the office, I enjoy practicing yoga for its mental and physical benefits. I find being outside as a way to ground myself and connect with nature. I love finding new hikes and camping spots in the summer. I’m a big fan of travel and am excited to explore more states and countries in the next few years. At home you can find me trying out new recipes, baking treats, or catching up on the latest Netflix series.
Education/Experience
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University in 2024 and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Washington in 2016. I completed my clinical internship at Hope and Healing Child and Family Counseling in Utah where I provided trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy to children and families with early developmental trauma. Prior to graduate school, I worked with children and teens in residential, primary school, and intensive outpatient settings. I have experience with children on the autism spectrum as well as those struggling with OCD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, ADHD, and adjustment disorder.
